RENEWING YOUR DRIVING LICENSE IN KENYA

For the past few weeks I have received alot of inquires on how to renew a driving licence.

The process is so simple.

First you have to create an e-citizen account on https://account.ecitizen.go.ke/login

Every Kenyan know his/her own I.D number overhead because you will need it when opening this account.

Once you have this account go to NATIONAL TRANSPORT AND SAFETY AUTHORITY section.
Then click on SUBMIT APPLICATION then scroll down to number 4 and 5 here you wills see the options of renewing your license for one year or three years respectively.

Choose the time line that you need.

Make sure you have the money to renew on your MPESA.

You can even pay with credit or debit card.

If you wish to pay via MPESA you will be given a code as your account number note this code expires under one hour.

After the payment is done you will get a printout.

Print and stick it on your license and you have renewed it.

Congrats.
